Send Palin a message

Dear Friends:
We may have thought we wanted a woman on a national political ticket, but will any woman do? I can't bear the thought of Sarah Palin as VicePresident of the United States, not to mention (potential) president? I suspect many of you are not happy with Palin's selection due to herpositions on women's issues and her Bush-like compensation for lack ofexperience with brashness, exessive decisiveness, and distrustful behavior(mis-truths like the bridge and her supposed visits to Iraq and Ireland;cronieism; illegally conducting official business with personal emails,etc.).
Some of you may already have supported the Obama campaign financially, and feel you can't do much more right now. So, may I suggest the following inexpensive alternative to UNsupport her? Make a donation to Planned Parenthood in Sarah Palin's name. A Planned Parenthood donation is tax deductible, while a political donation isn't.
And here's the good part: when you make a donation to PP inhername, they'll send her a card telling her that the donation has been madein her honor.
Here's the link to the Planned Parenthood website:http://www.plannedparenthood.org/index.htm***Go to donate, then honorary gifts***You'll need to fill in the address at the bottom to let PP know where tosend the 'in Sarah Palin's honor' card (the top address if for your credit card.) The minimum donation is only $5.00, so you don't need to go broke to send your message.
Have them send the thank-you card to the McCain campaign headquarters:McCain for President1235 S. Clark Street1st FloorArlington, VA 22202
Feel free to send this along to all your friends - women and men - and urge them to do the same.
Thanks.
